If you're still looking for a graduation present for a young man leaving college, or something for Father's Day, we'd like to suggest a pair of "College Colors" cuff links by the rather oddly-named (but very fine) American company, Baade II. Here at FA2L, we have a real horror of one-sided, "T"-backed or otherwise cheap-looking cuff links, but these beauties are the real deal: solid sterling silver or gold, with beautiful, hand-enameled cloisonné or champlevé vitreous faces. And the range of colors is extensive, so the school–and the man–you want to honor are sure to be represented.

The House of Orange: Fashion & Luxury Royalty
Sometimes, it's just about the shoes–in this case, a canvas peep-toe bootie on a stacked heel and platform, trimmed in orange leather, buckled up the back and laced up the front. Who makes it? Isn't it obvious? There ought to be a Pantone color named Hermès orange...

Fahsion Update? Ummmm...FURNITURE, IDIOT!
Ok so, firstly, let me explain the distance between the last update and this one, simply:
fashion was really out of fashion. If you checked up on this blog during that time, methinks your fashion radar is well broken!
Good news?
Fashion is back in fashion, in a huge way! So everybody get out your tables and put them on your hips, because furniture is where its at! I remember, June the 14th, 1982, this super-chic trend was born, a synth player would put a neat hole through his instrument and wear it with such pride, a seed was planted. Fast-forward, June 18th, 1982, a cluey pianist wore his grand piano to a gig where Marcus Frenrenege`, fashion designer, would be in attendance. Fast forward, May 1st, 2011, where currently, in the world, a fast-growing number of the most knowy fashionistas (currently 305) are grabbing any chair, table, cabinet or bedframe they can find and attatching themselves to these furnitures quick smart! It was a long time coming, but the best of us saw it!
TIPS...
- try to team your furniture with saggy droopy peices (such as gowns, trackpants, parachute attire)
- ONLY mahogony!
Kisses, Meryl
